New potatoes with radishes & cured ham


prep time : 10 minutes
cook time : 15 minutes

Ingredients : 
  • 600g baby new potatoes (you can look for Jersey Royals or Pembrokeshire)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 tsp sherry vinegar
  • 2 bunches breakfast radishes , trimmed
  • 6 wafer-thin slices of the best cured ham you can find   

Directions :
  • Boil the potatoes in a large bowl with the  bay leaf and a lot of salt for about 10 minutes unitl tender then let to cool in the cooking water . 
  • Next step , carefully drain the potatoes, discarding the bay leaf , after that put in the olive oil and a splash of Sherry vinegar to taste . split the radishes in half . last step ,  toss with the warm new potatoes and carefully arrange on a serving platter with the ham slices . serve immediately.


Bean & bangers one-pot



prep time : 10 minutes
cook time : 30 minutes


Ingredients : 
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 good-quality pork sausages 
  • 2 carrots, halved lengthways and sliced
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 x 410g cans mixed beans in water, rinsed and drained
  • 400ml chicken stock
  • 100g frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Directions : 
    • Heat the oil in a frying pan , sizzle the sausages for about 6 minutes until brown . then put it in a dish . tip the carrots and onions into the pan, then cook for 8 minutes until the onions are soft  add the vinegar to the pan, then stir in the drained beans. Pour over the stock, nestle the sausages in with the beans, then simmer everything for 10 minutes .
    • Next step , scatter in the frozen peas, cook for 2 minutes until heated then hen take off the heat and stir in the mustard . serve immediatly .
